This is a high visibility and high impact role in one of the most exciting areas of Microsoft. We are looking for a high achiever, characterized by concrete contributions, to help drive the right business decisions. The candidate should have current experience with web analytics in a large online, preferably, ad-funded business. He or she should be able to apply a breadth of tools, data sources and analytical techniques to answer a wide range of high-impact business questions and present the insights in concise and effective manner. The candidate should be an effective communicator capable of independently driving issues to resolution.

Key Responsibilities include
Manipulate and analyze complex, high-volume, high-dimensionality data from varying sources using a variety of tools and data analysis techniques
Apply statistical concepts and techniques to analyze experiments and user behavior
Deliver on ambiguous projects with multiple stakeholders, unclear requirements and incomplete data
Present findings and recommendations to key decision makers at various management levels
Provide input to product management and planning teams on new analytical capabilities needed
Requirements
5+ years of industry experience solving analytical problems using quantitative approaches
Minimum Masters degree in quantitative field such as mathematics, statistics, operations research, or engineering/technology with an emphasis on statistical analysis; or applicable experience
MUST have expertise in C# and SQL Server BI tools such as T-SQL scripting, SSRS/PowerView
Knowledge of an analysis tool such as R, MiniTab, or SAS highly desirable
Ability to collaborate with partners and drive analytic projects end to end 
Ability to communicate complex quantitative analysis in a clear, precise, and actionable manner
Attention to detail and data accuracy
