Description
Context:
Under the overall supervision of the Chief of Mission (CoM), the successful candidate will beresponsible for providing operational support in the mission.
Core Functions / Responsibilities:
1. Organize all operational and administrative tasks within the RAS (ReintegrationAssistance Switzerland) project in connection with voluntary returns the following Africancountries: Nigeria, Chad, Sudan and South Sudan, Ethiopia, Angola, Burundi, CongoBrazzaville, Congo DRC, Kenya, Madagascar, Mauritius, Rwanda, South Africa,Tanzania, Uganda, Zimbabwe. Ensure the provision of specific operational return andreintegration assistance for individual cases (travel services, reception services,reintegration services and monitoring services) in close collaboration with the relevantIOM units in the Regional Office and the relevant field missions and other partners, aswell as the relevant Swiss counterparts.
2. Provide return-relevant information to the Swiss Federal Office for Migration, thecantonal return counseling offices, pre-departure training providers and others byimplementing IOM Bern's RIF-program (Return Information Fund).
3. Provide specific operational return and reintegration assistance for individual returneesin close collaboration with the relevant IOM units in the Regional Office and the Field, aswell as with the relevant Swiss counterparts, by implementing IOM Bern's SIM-program(swiss REPAT-IOM Movements) and by implementing IOM Bern's R.A.S. program(Reintegration Assistance Switzerland).
4. Coordinate and provide support to the Swiss cantonal return counseling offices and toother cantonal and NGO-partners.
5. Undertake duty travel within Switzerland and abroad.6. Perform such other duties as may be assigned.

Required Qualifications and Experience
a)completion of secondary school and post-school qualification in social science orrelated field;
b) four years' experience in an international organization in an operationalsupport;
c) experience in the area of migration management, identification and resolvingoperational problems;
d) high level of computer literacy particularly in Microsoft suite ofprograms;e)previous experience in reserving flights, organizing payments andmonitoring returns an advantage.
LanguagesFluency in English, French and German is required.
