Pact in Myanmar an International NGO is currently seeking a motivated, experienced and dedicated candidate for the position of Office Assistant for a 3-year humanitarian assistance program in Myanmar. Position Summary: Swan Yi program is beginning peri-urban activities in Pathein Gyi township in Yangon as the one of the areas of women empowerment, WORTH program. Under the overall guidance of Township Manager and direct supervision of Finance and Admin Assistant, Office Assistant is responsible to assist FAA to establish the Admin and Finance system to follow the existing procedures and policies of Pact Myanmar. The Office Assistant is responsible for maintenance a clean office and compound of the Township Office. The Office Assistant will assist the Office maintenance of both Admin and Finance tasks to give utmost support to township field implementation team for smooth running of program. SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Programmatic Responsibilities: Regularly send and collect mails from Post Office, Courier and Transport Services. Assist the Township Manager, FAA and the project staff with their work and day to day office related work and as assigned.
- Assist with mail, massage delivery and with office errands.
- Assist with office filing system and storage.
- Maintain the Petrol log book, movement log book, attendant sheet.
- Maintain incoming and outgoing correspondence files.
- Maintain the dispatch register books.
- Assist the FAA with local procurement.
- Undertake occasional field trip as and when required.
- Supervise Township Office Security as per his/her TOR;
- Undertake any other activities as and assigned by the Township Manager and FAA. Expected Results  Office and compound is kept in clean, decent manner.  Finance and Admin Assistant receive the effective assistant in Admin and Finance to maintain the well operation system.  Any other assistances need from program implementation team is assisted and timely production of smooth running implementation. - All expenses made by the Office Assistant have to be approved by concerned Township Manager. Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum one year experience in working closely with villages or grassroots communities in NGO or related fields
- Work experience in urban activities is desirable.
- Graduate or equivalent qualification
- People with good health condition and already residing in the project townships are preferred.
- Excellent communication skills when working with team members
- Able and willing to work flexible hours as needed and without constant or close supervision
- Able to walk or take public transport or motorbike 5 days every week to visit groups.
- Independence, dependability and accountability
- Good working relation with colleagues
- Innovation , Initiative and learning new things
- Must have reporting skill
