FEMIP Trainee: Directorate for Information and Corporate Center - Purchasing & Procurement
Duration of traineeship: 6 months (with possible extension)
Responsibilities
Under the Head of Division's supervision, the trainee would contribute to the Bank's procurement process in line with the bank's rules and procedures. This would include
- providing support in purchasing outside of tender processes, notably soliciting offers, issuing purchase orders and recording of vendors into the electronic purchasing tool used by the Bank.
- providing support with the administration of Calls for Tenders, notably assisting Selection Panels (documentation of meetings), handling of tender documentation, administering schedules of tenders and documentation for tender publication
Qualifications
- Degree in Economics, Business Administration or Business Law
- Excellent knowledge of the standard computer tools
- Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English and/or French
