FEMIP Trainee (Financial Control Department - Third Party Accounting Unit)
Duration of traineeship: 6 months (with possible extension up to a total of 12 months)
Support to the Financial Control Team
Responsibilities
Under the Head of Unit's supervision, the trainee will:
- Perform specific tasks in the monthly accounting and control process executed for Third Party Mandates (e.g. Trust Funds, JASPERS (Joint Assistance to Support Projects in European Regions), JESSICA (Joint European Support for Sustainable Investment in City Areas) and other European Commission programmes in close cooperation with other services of the Bank (mainly Finance and Operations Directorate)
- Contribute to the preparation of semi-annual and annual financial statements of Third Party Mandates
- Support the Third Party Accounting team in the development and enhancement of the existing accounting environment
Qualifications
- Final year of studies or degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics
- Experience in the banking sector and financial accounting environment would be an advantage
- Good knowledge of the standard computer tools, in particularExcel and Word
- Excellent knowledge of English and/or French
