The People and Org Platform (POP) team of SharePoint is dedicated to moving people and customers seamlessly and securely through the system - from rock solid tenant onboarding to enabling groups & organizations as first-class objects across Office 365.
We want passionate smart folks who like automation and can thrive in a fast paced environment; we value dedication, hard & smart work and a desire to make things better. Your responsibilities will include building testability into our feature designs, shaping our availability story, authoring test plans, coding agile automation, and driving quality and service readiness for our feature set - on time and to scale.
Qualified candidates will have:
- Ability to clearly communicate concerns about code and collaborate with Developers and Program Managers to effectively solve software challenges
- High level of personal accountability and “self-starter” attitude in order to make progress in ambiguous situations
- Capability to problem solve by not only identifying bugs, but also narrowing down the list of bugs to identify the root of a software problem
- Passion for software quality, good instincts for how Microsoft customers such as developers, admins and end users expect
- Outstanding ability to break things in creative ways
- At least 1 year of experience with related SharePoint technologies like IIS, SQL, ASP.Net, or web development in general is a plus.
- 2+ yrs of relevant experience in the IT industry (or) Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related disciplines is required
