Description

The Senior Director of Product Strategy is driving the product roadmap and strategy in support of business goals for Xbox Sports’ existing and emerging portfolio. The ideal candidate is an energetic and creative problem solver who is comfortable working through massive amounts of information and high levels of uncertainty and ambiguity to define and execute key product and business strategies to drive positive business outcomes. The ideal candidate is comfortable assisting to define the product strategy, ensuring a world-class Xbox Sports consumer experience. This candidate will have demonstrated experience supporting product strategy efforts for leading companies. This position is located in Los Angeles, CA and is a part of the Xbox Entertainment Studios group.

Responsibilities: 
- For every opportunity in the Xbox Sports portfolio, the successful candidate will be responsible for helping drive the strategy (value prop, target market, competitive landscape, go-to-market strategy, metrics/revenue strategy)
•Understand the product opportunities, challenges and priorities to help define the technology and product vision. Concurrently, evangelize these trends, opportunities, challenges and priorities across business and technology leadership. 
- Serve as a bridge between our executives and development teams to ensure a broad understanding of business objectives and enable disciplined and proactive decisions regarding product and technology investments to enhance our product slate. 
- Monitor, and provide analysis of competitive landscape 
- Focus on the customer, both existing and potential, and use that knowledge to help deliver a product roadmap that provides Xbox consumers with an unparalleled experience. 
- Conduct financial analysis on new opportunities to set and meet revenue and profit targets 
- Bring innovative ideas to the table every day, in order to find better ways of accomplishing our consumer objectives. 

Desired Skills & Experience
- Strong knowledge of the learning technology market for either consumers or institutions. 
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and feature concepts. 
- Ability to prioritize well, communicate clearly and understand how to drive a high level of focus and excellence with a strong, talented, opinionated team. 
- Ability to communicate clearly and bring clarity to ambiguity. 
- Demonstrated ability to drive projects cross-functionally and build partnerships with other teams to align goals and leverage synergies. 
- Demonstrated success delivering products/services in a high-growth environment, exhibiting strong ability to identify and solve ambiguous problems. 
- High attention to detail with proven ability to juggle multiple, competing priorities simultaneously and make things happen in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Proven ability to make smart trade-offs on time-to-market versus features and to respond to competitive opportunities. 
- Knowledge of or experience working across multiple platforms/applications 
- Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to work successfully with teams across the organization, including Engineering, Program Management, and Senior Leadership.
