Services Solution Sales Professional (SSSP) for Premier, Department of Defense (DoD) Enterprise Services

US Enterprise Services (ES), one of the fastest growing divisions at Microsoft, has an exciting leadership opportunity for a SSSP to lead market development, adoption and refinement of our key Premier solution offerings. The three components of this position include: 1. Large Capture, 2. Market Making solutions, and 3. Premier Business Development Leadership. This SSSP will be a critical resource to continue the Premier growth path by focusing on developing and driving new Premier sales programs, identifying and supporting large new deal capture and upselling large existing contracts. This person will be a critical resource to both the SEs and CSRs. 

This role will be responsible for developing and driving new Premier sales programs, identifying and supporting large new deal capture and upselling large existing contracts, as mentioned above. This position will work with the SEs and CSRs to assist with those deals that are multi-million dollars and require long term focus. The SSSP must work well with the SE that coordinates with the end customer and have the ability to drive deals independently if required. 


Key responsibilities:

Responsible for landing multi-million dollar Premier opportunities in DoD
Responsible for identifying and landing Solutions to the field sellers
Responsible for developing, marketing and implementing repeatable and evolving solutions into the field
Responsible for landing Sales Campaigns into the field

Day-to-Day:

Meet with senior customers
Influence relevant enterprise sales and marketing initiatives and lead Services-specific marketing initiatives
Deliver offering and sales/marketing feedback to US Public Sector Services HQ 

Key requirements:

To achieve these goals, we need a sales leader, an individual with scaled mid- to large market enterprise-level skills to successfully fill this role. Requirements include:
10+ years of experience in a related field or industry
Bachelor's degree with specialty in Business Management, Marketing, or technology
Successful track record of Sales and Marketing management experience preferably for Mission Critical areas with Premier solutions
A functional understanding of Services, EPG and SMSP would be beneficial if an internal candidate, if external similar functional experience; exceptional cross boundary and collaboration skills are needed
Ability to lead virtual teams and influence leadership in matrix organizations is essential
