Vacancy Announcement Position: Monitoring & Evaluation Officer (1) Post Place of work: Yangon with travels to project sites Duration of Assignment: - 3 months probation period and renewal to the satisfactory performance and organizational requirement.
CESVI is a non religious, nonprofit International NGO running projects in the fields of Livelihood recovery, Food Security, Agriculture, Water and Sanitation, Health, Community development in Mandalay Region, Magway Region, Sagaing Region, Yangon Region, Kachin State and Northern Shan State.
General Responsibilities The M&E Officer is responsible for ensuring field data is gathered, summarized and registered, ensuring the quality of data entered and reported to Cesvi Management guided by Senior M&E Officer. The M&E officer will analyze and report the monthly activity tracking systems, quarter and annual reports, activities concern data such as PRA, Action Plan, etc (i.e. both qualitatively and quantitatively), develop and (or) amend the database and formats. The M&E officer will also need to conduct/arrange trainings in case of requirement for program staffs' capacity. Specific Responsabilities                 To implement M&E system Guidelines and Procedures and to share and explain them to the staff involved in data management; To implement the database Access file to guarantee a more efficient data extraction; To ensure the quality and reliability of data entered in database; To collect all data from Field Office level as stipulated in the M&E plan; To summarize and analyze all data, the month activity tracking system and to timely present it to management in order to prepare monthly and quarterly Reports; To monitor data from Field Office in order to follow up project activities Prepare regular consolidated monthly monitoring and progress reports, based on reports received from the Field Offices; To properly collect from field level and archive in the main office the hard-copies of all M&E related documents Verify the conformity of data soft and hardcopy. To coordinate mainly with field M&E (program staffs if needed) for data verification and intime arrival To analyze and report data on activity such as PRA, Action Plan To develop the database (using MIMU standards), formats and produce quarries/data for reporting and other needs To be able to use MS Word, Excel, Access and GIS for database To conduct/arrange trainings for program staffs To write success stories and (or) case studies concerning with the field activities To attend required meetings, workshops and share back the information/outputs. To have strong coordination and communication with the program staffs and partners agencies.
Qualification and experience required: University Degree in social sciences related or equivalent qualification is preferred. Minimum 2 years of experience in database management and data analysis Experience in development and health programs is an asset Previous experience in INGO is an asset Knowledge of WASH, Environment and /or Health Sector is an asset Good planning and organizing skills is essential Competent in the use of Microsoft office computer programs including Word, Excel, Power Point is essential  Willing to travel in remote areas  Good communications skills, ability to work in a team        Conditions; Travel expenses will be covered for work purposes.
