The Mediaroom team within the Interactive Entertainment Business (IEB) division is looking for top-notch technical talent to shape the new look of television and entertainment experiences.
We’re looking for a Software Development Engineer who is passionate about the entertainment space and wants to architect and build the next wave of experiences for our Cloud Video/TV Vertical Platform. The ideal candidate will have deep experience with design and development of Software as a Service (SaaS) design and development. Enjoying the challenge of highly complex, fluid and changing problem sets is a must. A deep passion for new and innovative end to end media experiences is very important. The position demands strong analytical and disciplined engineering skills, as well as organizational dexterity. There are many cross team dependencies, so excellent collaboration skills are important.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Hold yourself and coworkers to high standards of excellence
- Deep computer science knowledge (data-structures & algorithms)
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Fast learner, able to pick up new technologies rapidly
Preferred Qualifications:
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent
- Experience with web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX)
