The European Investment Fund is seeking to recruit for its Human Resources Division at its headquarters inLuxembourg, a  
Recruitment Assistant
Appointment will be made on the basis of a fixed term contract of two (2) years.
 
Purpose:
As part of the Human Resources team, the Recruitment Assistant will perform a variety of tasks with the objective of contributing to the efficiency, accuracy and performance of the internal and external recruitment activity. The incumbent will have a direct impact on the experience of every candidate and the quality of the assistance provided to all counterparts.
Operating Network
The assistant works reports to the Head of Human Resources under the supervision of a more senior member of the team for the guidance in daily tasks. S/he will interface on a daily basis with hiring managers and their assistants as well as with both internal and external candidates. S/he is in regular contact with staff members while developing and maintaining external contacts with candidates, suppliers, and other third parties.
Main Responsibilities
Actively participate in the whole recruitment process which can be defined as follows, as well as in other HR matters:
  • Drive all administrative aspects of the recruitment process (publish job vacancies, organise online assessments, follow up of screening process, liaise with candidates on logistics related to interviews (travel, accommodation, access to EIF building,  etc);
  • Maintain and update the candidate database (PeopleSoft) ensuring appropriate counter-parties have access to necessary information in a timely and consistent manner;
  • Contribute to monthly reports, HR metrics and other statistics, related to the recruitment activity.
Qualifications
  • Certified Secondary education. Certificate/Diploma of complementary studies (1 year or more) e.g. human resources, accounting, economics, statistics, etc.;
  • At least 3 years' relevant experience, preferably in a coordinating role; experience in  Human Resources would be a distinctive advantage in particular regarding workforce administration and recruitment;
  • Highly conversant in Excel, Outlook, Word;
  • Excellent knowledge of English; knowledge of other EU languages, particularly French, would be an advantage.
