Assignment:
The Documentation Section of the On-Site Inspection (OSI) Division supports and contributes to the elaboration of the draft OSI Operational Manual by Working Group B, with the aim of producing the draft OSI Operational Manual to be ready for the first session of the Conference of the States Parties upon entry into force of the Treaty. The Section also coordinates the development and quality management of procedural and technical guidance to support the manual, particularly Standard Operating Procedures and work instructions, manages and maintains the OSI e-Library, and organizes workshops to support the development and build-up of the OSI regime.
Duties:
Under the supervision of the Chief, Documentation Section, OSI:
- Populate the OSI e-Library site and platform with all documents required for IFE14 and related training activities (e.g. with draft Quality Management System documents, scientific materials, OSI official documents, forms and templates, equipment user manuals, etc.);
- Assign metadata according to OSI topic, inspection phase, user group and/or equipment identifiers to all documents manually or auto-populated in the OSI e-Library to ensure accurate search functionality and assist with the preparation of OSI documentation kits;
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- First level university degree in computer science, document management or a related field;
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience, preferably in an international environment;
- Knowledge of CTBTO on-site inspections essential for the accurate assignment of metadata;
- Expertise in Alfresco Enterprise 4 and community version essential;
- Experience in content management systems desirable;
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English are essential.
