Winter Internship Program 2014 - Diversity Initiative
The Trade and Investment Unit
The Trade and Investment Unit ( INT/TIU) has been entrusted with the bank-wide program, ConnectAmericas. ConnectAmericas (CA) is a platform sponsored by the IDB that will offer SMEs from Latin America and the Caribbean an online ecosystem where they will be able to establish business links with clients, suppliers and investors from the rest of the region and the world, access relevant information and training tools to facilitate international trade transactions, and obtain information about trade finance opportunities.
Responsibilities
  • Assist the Unit in the execution of ConnectAmericas, particularly in the coordination of the program in Brazil
  • Analyze information on the Brazilian foreign trade market and regulations
  • Liaise with Brazilian entities in charge of assisting small and medium enterprise internationalize
Qualifications
Educational Background:
Master's degree student or equivalent in business administration with deep knowledge of the international trade market, preferably in Brazil.
Computer Skills:
Preferred IT background, although not essential
Languages:
Proficiency in Spanish and French
