Software Manager
As part of the Application Services team, the successful candidate will work with other members of ITES to produce and deliver high-quality, well-integrated, solutions for our global community.
He/she will work with a highly motivated team of engineers, with high interactions with business teams, business analysts, infrastructure specialists and database administrators to:
  • understand business needs, specify technical solutions and determine operational feasibility;
  • evaluate existing market technologies/solutions (open source or off-the-shelf as appropriate);
  • implement required software solutions and data integrations;
  • ensure seamless, reliable delivery of all solutions and provide support to guarantee service level compliance;
  • improve operations by conducting systems analysis; recommending changes in technologies and procedures;
  • have the chance to influence the organization's future steps.
Your profile:
  • You can provide leadership and get involved in software development and integration projects to design and implement effective solutions.
  • You have gained at least 5 years of experience in software architecture, data-oriented applications development using relational databases and Java based frameworks.
  • You know how to define product roadmaps, gather requirements and develop technical solutions using agile methodologies and embracing devops culture and technical practices.
  • You have demonstrated strong project management skills.
  • You like finding and proposing new solutions that deliver valuable assets to the business and contribute to the definition of new directions.
  • Experience in some of the following areas is an asset: master data management, web content management, business process management, business intelligence, XML and NoSQL databases.
Technical skills:
  • Languages: Java ecosystem and frameworks, Web (HTML5, CSS3).
  • Middleware and Databases: SOA, ESB, RDBMS (Oracle).
Soft skills:
  • Strong team spirit and commitment to customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to adjust rapidly to a complex business environment.
  • Autonomy and strong sense of self-accountability.
Education and languages:
  • University-level education
  • Fluent in English (C1 level minimum), knowledge of French is a plus.
