Contract Duration: For initial appointment, the Court offers a two-year appointment with the possibility of extension (a probationary period of six months.).
A roster of suitable candidates may be established for this post as a result of this selection process for both fixed-term established and general temporary assistance posts.

Duties & Responsibilities
Acting under the direct supervision of the Security Operations Officer (Head of the Security Support Unit), the Security Training Coordinator is primarily responsible to plan and administer the Security and Safety Section (SSS) training program.
His main duties and responsibilities are:
- Direct supervision of the Security Training office and coordination of internal and external training courses for SSS staff;
- Develop, maintain and administer annual training plans, providing staff with all relevant information for upcoming trainings;
- Manage and review training records in order to identify and record all training attendance, results and performance factors applicable for the purpose of audit, review and performance measurement;
- Analyse and evaluate the performance of staff; determine their needs; select, implement, monitor, assess and report methods used and their effectiveness;
- Provide the Security Operations Officer with continuous updated information and appraisal of current certification requirements and records.
- Assess, identify, design, develop, implement and evaluate all training courses, their content and their relevance to the working environment;
- Provide supervision and instruction in several work related subjects;
- Coordinate and monitor the activities of all instructors providing training within the SSS;
- and monitor the approach of external Instructors in providing safe effective training in compliance with agreed contracts.
Essential Qualifications Education:
Completion of secondary education.
Experience:
- At least 8 years of progressive experience gained via service in the Police or Military service.
- Relevant experience in a training management setting with a focus on administrating, designing and delivering training programs combined with proven ability to measure program effectiveness and learner performance;
- Relevant experience as trainer/instructor.
- Exposure in an International Tribunal/Court is an asset.
Required qualifications:
- Certification as a trainer (United Nations Train the Trainers course or similar);
- High level of computer literacy (including a solid knowledge of spreadsheets, data bases); solid knowledge of TRIM (Total Records Information Management) and other ERP system is desirable.
