We are looking for an exceptional Senior SDE with experience in building large scale systems software for networking and data processing. Our team leverages fundamental building blocks like Windows Azure, Cosmos and various Microsoft cloud services to build Windows Phone Services to drive business for our division. Millions of users worldwide expect these services to work flawlessly and be there for them to use wherever they are. You must have experience in working at the core networking, storage and systems layer in a server or services team. You need to be passionate about availability, reliability, security and low latency. The Windows Phone Services team is expanding our efforts around Wi-Fi to help our customers reduce data costs for their devices. Ability to work in big data and understanding data mining paradigms/technologies is desired. Familiarity with Wi-Fi technologies also highly desired.

• 6+ years of relevant software design and development experience preferably on shipped server products or services
• Proven Experience of working through the full product cycle from initial design to final product
• Outstanding technical problem solving skills
• Experience writing performance-critical code
• Solid written and verbal communications skills 
• A BS/MSc in Computer Science or equivalent experience
