Helper, Plumber with Facilities Management Services under the Office of the Deputy Executive Director (Re-Advertisement #348/13)
icddr,b invites applications from suitable candidates for the position ofHelper, Plumber with Facilities Management Services under theOffice of the Deputy Executive Director. The appointment will be made on a CSA basis for 9 months, which is renewable depending on performance and availability of funds.
Duty station – Matlab
Salary – Tk.14,816/-(consolidated) per month inclusive of house rent and conveyance allowances. No other benefit is admissible.
Job Profile
- Installation, ,servicing, maintenance, renovation and repairing of the centre's plumbing appliances;
- Installation of plumbing fixtures, disposal of sewerage, repair and maintenance of water pump, water heater ,toilet fixtures, gas burners;
- Trouble Shooting and working independently after office hours including weekend;
- Keep record of tools and equipment, maintaining works area, clean tools and keep in a workable condition.
Requirements:
Education and Relevant Experience:
- SSC or equivalent. Preference will be given having trade course on plumbing and sanitary works;
- 5 years of relevant work experience.
Functional Competencies:
Knowledge of
- Installation, repairing and maintenance of Plumbing related works;
- Trouble shooting.
Behavioral Competencies:
- Can foster partnerships;
- Able to communication effectively;
- Able toc execute for results;
- Able to adopt with continuous learning.
