Attendant with the Matlab Community Health Research under the Centre for Reproductive Health (Advertisement #360/13)

icddr,b invites applications from suitable Female candidates  for the position of Attendant with theMatlab Community Health Research under the Centre for Reproductive Health. The appointment will be made on a fixed term basis for 2 years, but may be extended for further period depending on satisfactory performance and availability of funds.

Duty station- Matlab

Salary – Annual Tk. 177,790/- inclusive of house rent and conveyance allowances with other admissible benefits.

Benefits/facilities – 14.8% retirement fund contribution by icddr,b, children allowance @Tk.1,420/- per child per month, medical facilities for dependent spouse and children, group life insurance. Subsidized canteen, transport and daycare facilities subject to availability.

Job Profile:

• Maintain cleanliness of the assigned portion of the office premises;
• Maintain cleanliness of the furniture, equipment, utensils etc;
• Motivate mothers on Family Planning, EPI, antenatal and postnatal checkup ;
• Taking temperature, height and weight of patient mother and children;

 Requirements:

• SSC Pass, may be relaxed up to class VIII for deserving candidates;
• 1 year of experience in relevant field including supporting delivery related care;
• Knowledge of cleanliness;
• Sense of punctuality;
• Ability to understand basic rules to work in an office;
• Good communication skills;
• Candidates must be from Matlab MCH-FP area (Block- B) with valid CID/RID number.
