We are looking for a Software Engineer with an entrepreneurial passion to be a major contributor to Skype’s development of mobile advertising solution. You will be a part of the team that works on building and deploying indirect monetization solutions across the entire Skype client portfolio.
Description and Responsibilities:
This role offers an engineer, with a blend of experiences and expertise that demonstrate a capability for delivering successful solutions on web and mobile devices, the opportunity to join a talented team that is developing the next generation of Skype’s indirect monetization platform.
•Be a true partner in defining the solutions, have and develop business acumen and bring technical perspective in furthering the product and business.
•Estimate engineering effort; plan implementation of optimizing prototypes into production code and lead small execution teams
•Deliver clear, well-communicated and complete design documents.
•Develop exemplary and thoroughly tested code for the most challenging aspects of the product or product sub-systems
•Perform quality assurance on all new code from inception through integration, staging and production environments
•Collaborate effectively with other technology teams and architects to solve complex problems spanning their respective areas
•Ability to work in a team as well as independently and deliver on aggressive goals
•Exhibit Creativity and resourcefulness at problem solving while collaborating and working effectively with best in class designers, engineers of different technical backgrounds, architects and product managers

Requirements:
- 4+ years programming experience in one or more (Javascript, Html, CSS)
- 2+ years programming experience in one or more(Java, Objective-C, C#)
- Development experience with one or more mobile operating system
- Experience developing web based applications
- Considers themselves an expert in web based applications
- Experience developing mobile applications and UI
- Experience or exposure to Agile and iterative development processes
- Experience in other Programming/Scripting language e.g. Python, JavaScript
- Self-motivated and organized.
- Good communication skills, able to bring forward a vision or opinion.
- Has a good sense of humor
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related subject
Preferred Qualifications
- Masters Degree in Computer Science or related subject
