The Commerce Platform Security, Privacy, and Compliance team is responsible for assessing and verifying system security and privacy, defining security features and process requirements, and verifying and auditing compliance with security and financial reporting controls. With the incredible growth in online revenue, and the consequent growth in commerce processing scale and complexity, this team is right in the heart of Microsoft’s online and cloud transition.
The Commerce Platform Security, Privacy, and Compliance team is looking for an experienced, highly motivated Program Manager to drive security features, cross-platform security processes including, for example, penetration test, and security and compliance programs. If you enjoy working in complexity and solving tough process and product problems, or if security is your expertise and you want to broaden your background to include cross-platform initiatives as well as features, AND if want to play a critical role in Microsoft’s future, this role might be for you.
To succeed in this position you must be a self-starter and a team player. You should have a track record of planning and delivering complex features or initiatives and in driving difficult projects from inception to completion. Your experience should include significant cross-team collaboration. You will also need solid technical and good communication skills. You should be familiar with security technologies and a background in security PM or development or doing compliance and auditing is a strong plus.
A BSCS or equivalent experience is required as is 5-7 years managing increasingly complex features or initiatives.
