Click prediction team in Microsoft Advertising designs, develops and publishes models for predicting probability of clicks for given advertisement. The click prediction models are critical part of determining the how advertisements are displayed on search pages and impact the revenue generated for search. We're looking for passionate candidates who would like to work in offline data generation pipeline for click prediction.
Roles & Responsibilities:
As a developer in click prediction offline team, the responsibilities would include design, develop, debug and test services for working with click prediction store data. The developer needs to produce high quality reliable infrastructure for generating click prediction data for experimentation modeling and publishing. You would closely work with teams within Rnr and other teams within Microsoft Advertising to define service contract, prioritize the requirements, proactively identify issues and come with right design. As a service developer, you will work in agile environment and be responsible for complete development cycle starting with planning, implementation testing and then deployment.
Skills & Qualifications:
Strong design, implementation and problem solving skill. Strong communication and collaboration skills required to work with various partner teams. Ability to work in fast paced environment and ship quality code on tight schedules.
Experience Required:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and engineering or related technical field required. 5+ years of C#, .NET experience and experience with service development preferred. Experience in shipping multiple product cycles. Experience with COSMOS/scope is preferred but not required.
