Purpose:
The Finance Solution Delivery Organization is responsible for driving the SAP Finance strategy at Microsoft. This position will work on The Integrated Supply Chain Implementation (ISCI) project which is building a new end to end supply chain in SAP. You will work on the integration strategy of existing finance applications and process design improvements for key financial processes. You will work with all of the various stakeholders; Business Groups, Corporate Controller, Field Controllers, IT Program Management, and others to drive solution strategies and deliver process improvements with measurable results.
Responsibilities:
Develop partnerships within Microsoft and work in cross-organizational situations.
Understand and develop worldwide business processes improvement to deliver measurable results.
Gathering and write business requirements.
Prioritize solution features with a balance between time, scope, and cost.
Work closely with IT teams to evaluate solutions.
Drive compromise between business needs and cost-effectiveness. This includes providing vision into changing business patterns and logically arriving at proper project scope.
Define and execute communication strategy and internal stakeholder engagement
Project manage tools deployment strategy, training content and develop general project schedules for all related activities and deliverables.
Basic Qualifications:
3+ years of finance, accounting business, processes experience implementing IT Solutions.
Preferred Qualifications:
SAP FI/CO, Fixed Assets, CAPEX experience
Strong communication skills - written, oral, interpersonal
Must be able to understand and provide guidance on complex accounting, analysis, and business processes and policies
Ability to multi-task and deal effectively with ambiguity
Passion for technology
Strong problem solving ability and ability to utilize experience to improve processes
BA/BS in Accounting/Finance/MIS
MBA/MIS preferred
