The Corporate Functions IT organization is seeking an innovative Senior Program Manager who can lead the planning and project execution for various projects with in CFIT. This position requires a leader who has demonstrated experience in Line of Business Enterprise applications and someone who has demonstrated excellence in delivering world class solutions in a highly matrixed and global organization. This role demands excellence in strategic thinking, driving for results, operational excellence, cross-division collaboration, impact/influence and executive maturity.
Detailed Job Responsibilities
Leading a large mutli-discipline engineering team to deliver a major software development/implementation project by managing scope, schedule, issues/risks, trade-offs, communications and expectations.
Must be ready and be able to get into details(functional and technical) and drive to resolve issues
Should have a true passion to deal with multiple customer groups, a complex application portfolio which includes solutions engineered by 3rd party, vendor managed and FTE managed engineering teams in a global delivery model.
Manage project plans and schedule commitments, ensure plans are integrated and aligned to overall organizational and business strategy
Work with business partners to define and prioritize requirements and scope using a user focused design model.
Develop and sustain strong working relationships with product management, customers, program management, development, test, operations, vendors and IT peers
Demonstrate that customer satisfaction is top priority by ensuring team’s commitments are aligned with and delivered to meet customer satisfaction objectives
Analyze, remove, and proactively prevent roadblocks across team to meet quality standards, project milestones, and business objectives
Follow and enforce structured software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodology, ensuring projects adhere to SDLC key controls and milestones
Ensure team output consistently meets standards and policies for security, privacy and performance
Status reporting to all stakeholders
Drive corrective and strategic insight to industry best practices, trending and benchmarking, and/or research to help define and enable determined IT strategies/portfolio roadmaps
Required Experience and Qualifications:
Minimum 8 years of experience as project manager or program manager or systems analyst or systems/management consultant including functional analysis and design with hands on analysis and design and specifications experience
Minimum 8 years of experience working with SDLC methodologies
Minimum 8 years of experience and proven ability to resource, drive and deliver software projects including ERP or 3rd party applications or applications developed in-house or applications developed using an offshore model.
Finance applications and business process in-depth experience is required
Preferred Qualifications:
Exceptional communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation).
Understanding of Enterprise IT at the scale and complexity of Microsoft.
Exceptional ability to collaborate, openly communicate, present and negotiate effectively across disciplines and groups, with vendors and with customers.
Demonstrated experience delivering results in an ambiguous and changing environment, the ability to work independently and be a self-starter.
Strong customer focus, systems analysis and analytical problem solving skills is a must.
Sound judgment and decision-making skills, ability to juggle multiple competing priorities, and ability to work under deadline pressure.
Demonstrated experience delivering software applications using structured software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodology; should include experience where candidate was personally responsible for completing typical program manager owned deliverables including project schedules and functional specifications.
High degree of technical aptitude and a passion to learn new technologies. Ability to quickly grasp and understand technical problems and concepts and apply this knowledge.
Excellent project planning, management and deployment skills.
Meticulous attention to detail and a passion for driving execution at a detail level when necessary while maintaining the ability to see the big picture.
Worked extensively in a global delivery model.
