The global partner team in DPE is responsible for managing some of the most strategic commercial and consumer business partnerships across Microsoft, to help them build world-class applications on Windows, Windows Phone and Azure that delight our customers. The Global Partner team in DPE is hiring an exceptional business manager with passion for partners and the ability to work across multiple stakeholders and disciplines! As the business manager for the team you will be responsible for developing and driving the business management framework and processes, metrics, budget, capacity and resource management required to ensure the successful execution of the rhythm of the business partnering with leadership in DPE. Strong persuasion, prioritization and relationship building skills are a must. You’ll have the ability to handle multiple time-sensitive projects at once, and be at ease leading and influencing cross-functional teams across marketing, engineering and the new Business Development and Evangelism (BD&E) group. 

Key responsibilities:
-Drive rhythm of business (RoB) management and deliverables 
-Run the team’s execution cadence (e.g., staff meetings, organizational metrics/scorecard, budgeting, fiscal planning, reviews, commitments, etc.)
-Partner with leadership to increase employee engagement and drive internal communications
-Deliver processes and tools in conjunction with Finance and Business Management that facilitate a consolidated view of team budget
-Manage internal tools (e.g. SharePoint, TAPs,) and provide support for the global account management team on operational excellence

Qualifications: 
An ideal candidate should have excellent skills in all aspects of planning, cross-group collaboration, communications, analytical capabilities and attention to detail. He or she should have a passion and proven record for execution with measurable results. 
-BA or equivalent 4-year degree, with MBA/Masters preferred. 
-5+ years of business management, marketing or consulting experience.
-Experience leading and driving complex projects with multiple work streams spanning different business and disciplines. 
-Demonstrated virtual team leadership capabilities and ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
-Excellence in managing OPEX and all aspects of budget planning.
-Ability to work cross-functionally without authority
