As Senior Product Marketing Manager, Office 365 for EDU, you will be at the forefront of this transformation, and will lead our efforts to enable next generation productivity and communication capabilities for educational institutions of all sizes, across Canada, online and on-premise.
As the Senior Product Marketing Manager for Microsoft Office& Office 36, you will be responsible for the following;
Achieving Office 365 for education subsidiary scorecard targets and executing strategies to win customers and drive adoption in Canada.
Developing and driving the subsidiary strategy and orchestrating planning and execution for Office 365 for education. This includes leading the overall product business planning process, partnering closely with sales, services, partner and marketing teams locally and worldwide, to drive an integrated go-to-market approach to deliver on business and scorecard accountabilities
Running the rhythm of the business for Office 365 for education, including driving KPIs and reporting, local budget management. The role will also own corporate accountability and reporting associated with Office 365 for education on the subsidiary.
Be the champion and evangelist for Office 365 for broad partner ecosystem, employees and customers across Canada. Providing product guidance and driving overall Microsoft cloud vision and strategy.
Supporting sales motion and directly engaging with customers and partners to drive wins and post sales activities for the purpose of increasing Office 365 for education assigned users.
Collaborating with the CMO to develop effective marketing campaigns to drive student usage on campus, ensuring we land high impact marketing investments, across all key audiences by providing market, competitive and customer insights.
Driving market awareness for Office Live services and builds customer evidence. Drive positive PR stories in customers successfully using Office 365 EDU services.
Leading the product launch for Office 365 for education within Canada. These Responsibilities include: leveraging Corp assets, customizing messaging for the Canadian market, orchestrating launch activities, driving internal awareness, providing sales guidance, driving partner engagement, supporting press and analysts initiatives, collaborating on marketing activities.
Establishing relationships with top Office 365 for education institutions, school districts and partners, providing outstanding customer service and optimizing student experience with Office 365.
Assisting Public Sector sales with key education account escalations.
Collaborating with Partner team to drive training programs and marketing initiatives.
Supporting broader competitive efforts by providing leadership and insights around Google and other competitors within education
Working with education v-team and student v-team to provide a “One Microsoft” approach, sharing key workloads and business activities and partnering to drive the best Microsoft experience to the customer
Working with the other Office 365 EDU leads around the world to build a sense of community and jointly drive global impact through sharing of best practices and knowledge.
Provide feedback to the BG on the product, the process and key wins and losses
Candidates considering this role will have the following experiences and background:
Demonstrated leadership; proven success defining, implementing, and driving complex businesses strategies in a matrix organization
Extensive partner business model, marketing campaign development, and sales experience
Business and plan development, complex project development and management, market understanding (customer and competitive trends), deep analysis skills
Excellent interpersonal communications and cross-group collaboration skills
Demonstrated knowledge of the software industry including key vendors and their core strategies
Successful candidates will hold the following qualifications & attributes:
BA or Master’s degree
5-8 years of related product or audience marketing experience
Advanced strategic thinking, teamwork, communication, planning and organizational abilities
Ability to connect, cooperate and collaborate to inspire stakeholders to raise the bar
Proven ability to influence for impact, strong customer focus, lead virtual teams and a drive for results
