The Senior Product Manager will be responsible for conducting analyses and setting a plan to maximize the value of all the advertising inventory across Xbox surface areas, helping Xbox Advertising pursue its goal of achieving $1B in revenues.
This product manager will be responsible for partnering with the different ad teams (Display, Video, Remnant, Content & Custom) to optimize the product portfolio and drive the most amount of high margin revenue. This person will conduct global pricing and product analyses to set product, pricing & engineering prioritizations. This product manager will also develop, release, and implement any new forms of inventory utilization such as cost per click, cost per acquisition, cost per view, etc. on a global and regional basis across Xbox advertising’s platforms (TV, PC, tablet and mobile). The pricing and products have to be regionally relevant and easy to sell, buy and service.
This person will own inventory analyses, reporting, and optimization as wells as the product planning and management of conversion/completion based ad offerings. The product manager will work very closely across the other advertising teams, business management and advertising sales to develop a strategy to maximize revenue and avoid cannibalization. Xbox Advertising is a global business and consequently this role will also partner with regional leaders in Xbox and ad sales to ensure their critical local needs are sufficiently addressed.
Requirements:
•Demonstrated successful experience in optimizing advertising inventory
•Extremely knowledgeable of ad booking, serving, and reporting tools
•Business modeling and analytics
•Deep insight and experience around the digital, video and TV advertising technology and ecosystems
•Proven ability to partner and collaborate with both sales and engineering groups
•Strong strategic thinking skills and ability to work with large amounts of data
•Exceptional communication and collaboration skills to work closely with many internal and external groups
•A minimum of 7+ years of advertising experience, International experience is a plus
