343 Industries is looking for a seasoned maya tools and pipeline developer to enable our artists and designers to expand the Halo universe. RESPONSIBILITIES:
The tools team is responsible for creating and maintaining the infrastructure that allows artists and designers to turn their vision into reality. 

Day to day you will be responsible for maintain or extending our deep integration and custom tools inside various content creation applications, primarily Maya. There is a wide variety of requests and lots of opportunity for personal growth. You’ll work closely with artists, designers and engineers to craft unique solutions be it new scripts, creating custom user interfaces, or extending the basic functionality of Maya with new commands and nodes - we do it all. You will be required to come up to speed on the existing state of the tools and engine and help make improvements on an aggressive schedule. You will be writing and maintaining code across many languages (C++, Python, C#, etc.) as you customize maya and other commercial content creation packages to suit our needs. 

The ultimate goal: A world class toolset that enables the team to work faster and produce higher quality results that enable us to expand the Halo universe to new worlds.

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS
- Experience creating content pipelines for a current generation AAA console game
- Deep understanding of how Maya’s API’s work and how to extend/modify them safely
- At least 5 years of professional Python or C# experience
- At least 3 years of professional C++ experience
- Experience working in a variety of Digital Content Creation packages (Maya, Max, Photoshop and proprietary tools)
- Passion for creating an amazing AAA game experience
- Experience working with Qt (PyQt/Pyside) or WPF inside of Maya a plus
