Job Location – Sittwe, Rakhine State.
Contract Duration – 6 months possibilities with extension
Probation Period – 1.5 months
Job Range – Starting range from 201,000 MMK + other Benefits (relocation, medical coverage, housing allowance, etc.)

Solidarités International (SI) is a French humanitarian organisation operating in Myanmar since May 2008. In Myanmar, Solidarités International currently works on Livelihoods Recovery projects for GIRI cyclone affected households in Rakhine State and Water Access integrated project in Dry Zone, Livelihoods and Food Security Project in Kanpetlet Township, Chin State and Solidarités Int. is looking for a motivated and experienced HR Officer .
Main Tasks & Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the Administrative Supervisor and Administrative and Logistics Manager, the HR Officer carries out Administrative, Human resource management of his/her base , in compliance with donor and SOLIDARITES International procedures. He/she is also one of those charged with ensuring that Solidarités International's Human Resources policy is properly implemented at the base.
Management of HR tasks:
- Focal point in the process of recruitment of new applicants: announcing/posting new positions, receiving and sorting the applications, inform the line manager about the progress (progress follow up board), proper classification/ filling (recruitment folders)
- Assist in the preparation/redaction of contracts, amendments and end of contract documents by using Homere Software under the supervision of the Administrative Supervisor
- Orientate new recruited staff on SI HR Policy (Internal Staff Regulation, Penalty Code) and explain the content of SI HR documents
- Collects and classifies the needed documents for each employee
- Follow up of the HR files (work contract, job description, health benefits, holidays, personal administrative folder etc.)
- Assist in collaboration with the Accounting Supervisor in the daily management of staff benefits and entitlements including per diem, medical allowances, leave requests and other national staff requirements
- Assist in discussions and negotiations with national staff
- Calculate the watchman overtime
- Update staff follow-up for daily base, and entry data in Homere with the support of
administrative Supervisor.
- Update Staff Medical fees in Staff follow-up
- Compile and verify monthly the information entered by bases in the HOMERE software
- Prepare the salary with the support of Administrative Supervisor, and pay the salary in Sittwe Camp Office and Pauk Taw camp office
- Prepare and follow-up Staff Income Tax
- Prepare and update organization chart
- Prepare update HR Table and Security Planning, and send to administrative supervisor
- Follow up and update HR folder check list table
- Any other tasks requester by line manager
Management of Administrative tasks
- Follow-up the trip movement planning
- Reporting all movements and planning
- Flight and hotel booking and follow-up
- Manage cook and cleaner
Requirements
Any university degree Humanitarian values and strong motivation to work with International Humanitarian Organization Fluent spoken and written English and Myanmar Good writing and communication skills Rigor, reactive, trustful, autonomous and calm under pressure Good Computer Skill in Windows XP/7, MS office 2007/2010 (excel, word, power point) especially in Excel.
Preferable have the knowledge of Homere software (HR software of Solidarites international) acceptable who can learn quickly Local candidates and no INGO experience candidates are are encouraged to apply this position
Duty station will be Sittwe and the position will require field trips to the project areas. The tasks and responsibilities as well as the position title may vary upon the qualification and the experience of the selected candidate.
