Due to urgency of the role, MDM has right to reserve interview before closing date Médecins du Monde (MDM) is an International Non Governmental Organization (INGO) implementing HIV/AIDS and community health programs in Myanmar. GENERAL MISSION The medical doctor works for a Yangon program team aiming at STI/HIV/AIDS care and prevention program with vulnerable groups (SW, MSM).The medical doctor's mission is to provide the high quality medical care towards MDM beneficiaries.He/she also has the responsible to replace other MD position when there is on leave and as requested by his/her line manger or other responsible persons.
DUTIES DESCRIPTION
Provide medical care to beneficiaries STI management, general health care and care of PLWHA including opportunistic diseases management and home base care and ART - Provide good, competent clinical care in accordance with protocols and guidance of the clinic for all patients in target population in the clinic and in outreach (Home Based Care, in hospitals,…) - Maintain confidentially of patients files and keep the clinic and research data well organized. - Provide health education during consultations and medical/STI outreach visits - Participate in STI mobile visits and home base care, hospital visits - Supervise clinic hygiene and equipment standards to a high level in accordance with best practices (See Universal Precautions-WHO) and give inputs to clinic team leader if needs Work closely with medical and preventive teams to provide comprehensive and high quality care to beneficiaries - Report specific problems to the suitable person (line-manager, technical advisor,…) to find appropriate solutions together - Prepare the clinical cases to be presented during medical meetings and problematic case discussions - Participate to the ART selection committee, weekly ART and problematic case discussion meetings - Case presentation on behalf of MDM in clinical joint meeting, if necessary. - Participate in TB/ART cohort presentations Improve knowledge on PLHA care, OIs management, Malaria and STI management of medical and prevention staff - Identify medical training needs of clinic staff (nurses, counselors) and facilitate weekly training sessions - Participate in training sessions for peer educators and prevention staffs (Reproductive health, Home based care, Peer refresher trainings etc…) - Participate in training sessions and provide technical knowledge in preventive trainings for beneficiaries (VPET, Positive prevention training etc…) - Support the counselors in VCCT and ART on request
Collect data and give input for monthly report and cohorts - Collect daily medical data, fill the appropriate forms and give them to the data clerk - Responsible for STI or Hepatitis component ( data analyzing, reporting and provide training accordingly to the needs) - Maintain confidentiality of patient files and keep the clinic and research data well organized. - Provide input on changes and new observations to his/her supervisor in ART key register updating and preparation of monthly clinical data for reporting - Analyze data and prepare monthly report for STI/Hepatitis/TB component

MBBS (with valid medical registration: SAMA)
Specific trainings on HIV, STI, TB, OI, ART
At least 1 year experience as a medical doctor in the field of HIV Fluent oral and written English.
Working experience with high risk population is an asset
Good computer skills especially Microsoft Office package Good clinical skill Communication & relational skills Team spirit Training experience
