Location: Redmond, WA, US
Job ID: 837285-114636
Division: Finance
Description
Microsoft Enterprise Services (ES) is embarking upon a multiyear journey to implement Dynamics AX. This implementation will replace several of the incumbent key and core applications which support the business across engagement and agreement management, resource management, financial management and BI across the three businesses of Consulting Services, Premier and Enterprise Strategy. The goal for this program - codenamed DAX4ES - is to provide a consolidated, automated and fully integrated solution and platform for ES across the identified business capabilities which will bring greatly improved stability, agility and performance, eliminate significant areas of manual and duplicate data entry, improve data quality and compliance driving greater leadership business insight, and deliver a showcase Microsoft solution and a great end user experience.
WW Services Finance is looking for an Operations Program Manager to be a key member of the DAX4ES project. This individual will ensure we have designed, developed and implemented processes to address the complexities that will emerge as we onboard our pilot countries and drive a multi-billion dollar business on two platforms. The responsibilities of the Operations Program Manager include:
Understanding business processes in both the current and future state; identifying potentially disruptive scenarios impacting the finance capability.
Documenting scenarios and requirements for broad corporate functions that must support both the current and future states such as Finance, Global Delivery, Business Intelligence, ROC, etc.
Providing decision support analysis to Finance leadership as they balance the need to address gaps with business process vs. systems enhancements.
In advance of pilot country onboarding, developing business scenarios specific to local requirements to identify risks during migration and coexistence.
Designing processes to mitigate risks and address gaps between the current and future states; addressing key stakeholders and subject matter experts to obtain their buy in.
Collaborating with leads from Taxonomy, Data Mastering, Delivery, Reporting, ROC, etc. to broadly represent finance in global coexistence efforts.
Developing plans for and leading implementation of business process; engaging with readiness and enablement partners to communicate and deploy.
Staging pilot country legacy data in preparation for migration and validate the data post migration.
The ideal candidate is:
Self-motivated and has an appetite to quickly master new topics
Results driven and responsive to challenging deadlines in a fast paced environment
Able to deal with ambiguity and is adaptable to the project’s frequently changing demands
Customer focused, yet able to properly manage expectations, and influence change in alignment with project scope
Resourceful, thorough, and persistent in researching often undocumented business processes
Detail oriented and skilled in isolating the core components of complex business scenarios
Able to manage several concurrent, highly visible workstreams, involving multiple stake holders in a matrixed environment
Comfortable engaging at various levels of management and adjusting message altitude
Qualifications
BS/BA required. Advanced degree preferred
Minimum 6 years of relevant and related experience
Consulting services domain knowledge including knowledge of the as-is tooling, process, and procedures
