Join the Northwest District (NWD) as a Productivity Solution Sales Specialist. The successful candidate will be a leader within the Microsoft NWD enterprise sales organization in qualifying, developing, and closing sales opportunities related to Microsoft’s Business Productivity Solutions (Office System, SharePoint, Office 365 Exchange, and Lync.) The position will be located in either San Francisco or Mountain View, California.

The Productivity Solution Specialist’s goals will be: 

Achieve assigned quota and revenue targets across a NWDSS territory 
Build a foundation for long term Business Productivity revenue growth
Ensure successful deployment of the BP platform (including advanced workloads) 
Improve customer satisfaction with enterprise customers, win key Search, Cloud, and advanced workloads, and develop and own key Customer Executive-level relationships in assigned territories. 

Additionally, the Productivity Solution Sales Specialist must be the expert source of information for the sales team in mapping customer business initiatives and strategies to requirements supported with solutions and able to develop strong business justifications. As a Business Productivity Solution Sales Specialist (BP SSP), the successful candidate will enjoy one of the most impactful positions within field sales. In addition to senior level interaction with our largest customers, the SSP will be a sought after resource by Microsoft sales teams for their leadership in tough competitive situations while simultaneously working with Microsoft's product development teams to share competitive insights and recommendations. 

Knowledge, Skills and Experience required: 
The Business Productivity Solution Sales Specialist must possess world-class selling skills as well as solid business knowledge and knowledge of Microsoft and competitive collaboration, communication and business productivity technologies. 
Successful candidates will have great communication and relationship-building skills, are sincerely customer focused, are action oriented, deal well with ambiguity, think strategically, and are self-starters. 
As a basis for success, candidates for this role should have a minimum of 10 years of directly relevant enterprise sales experience. 
Candidates with sales experience in the Microsoft Information Worker platform and/or other platform (Oracle, EMC/Documentum, Google, Cisco) are encouraged to apply 
Candidates should have, and be able to demonstrate, strong negotiation, organizational, creative, presentation, written, and verbal communication skills. 
A successful candidate should also be able to deliver persuasive presentations to both technical (200-300 level) and business decision makers, have strong virtual teaming abilities, have exceptional leadership skills, and a strong commitment to customer service and be knowledgeable in strategic planning, risk analysis and business justification.

A bachelor's degree is required. 
NOTE: Relocation is not available for this role.
