The Bing Information Platform team is recruiting an excellent developer. The job will include being an integral part of the team tasked with creating personal digital assistants that work across platforms and devices. You will be part of the team that is responsible for developing this technology across many client devices.Your profile includes:
- 5+ years of engineering experience owning feature design, development, releasing and sustaining strong architectural skills backed up by implementation experience
- Excellent programming skills and considerable experience in C/C++/C#
- Experience with LINQ, Web Services
- Test driven development with heavy focus on quality
- Effectively work with both internal and external teams and dependencies
Additionally,
- Familiarity with internet scale service deployment is plus
- Familiarity with Reactive Extensions is a plus
As part of the new team and you will have an opportunity to be a part of a significant investment by Microsoft. You will help define the platform and technologies that we will be building on for years to come. The team works in close coordination in a scenario focused approach to design centered on delivery to several key and exciting Microsoft locomotive products. Your responsibility will be to be deeply involved with the design and implementation of the core platform technologies to support this ambitious effort of building technology that does not exist anywhere else.
