Are you ready for the challenge of joining the future of entertainment at Microsoft?Microsoft Studios’ Shared Services Organization (SSO) is at the forefront of the services and tech used to drive improvements across all of Microsoft’s games and platforms, providing key components in telemetry, analytics, UGC and hosted services. You will be responsible for both the creation of new technology as well as a sustainable, scalable program that allows the team to respond quickly to more and more partners with rapidly evolving requirements. You will be on the front lines with business critical partners, working across the entire Microsoft Studios organization to ensure the right functionality is exposed in a consistent, scalable and sustainable way.
As a member of Microsoft Studios’ SSO team, you will:
-Be at the heart of Microsoft’s entertainment strategy, working closely with critical partners including both internal and external premier game developers
-Develop new online services and integrate services into multiple platforms
-Have the opportunity to solve complex problems that allow for innovative features across multiple devices and services
-Work on premier, innovative 1st party game and entertainment titles developed and published by Microsoft Studios
-Be a key contributor in driving a culture of hosted services that delivers dynamic, highly personalized and social entertainment experiences

Qualifications/Skills
-Multitask between projects and teams fluidly
-10+ years of software engineering experience
-5+ years of experience developing and managing a partner facing SDKs (managed and native codebases)
-Prior experience developing and managing an SDK program, preferably service based
-Strong debugging skills in a multi-threaded environment
-BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent
Bonus Qualifications:
-Hands-on experience building tools or technologies utilized in game development
-Experience building Azure web services
-Experience building network level transport engines
-Experience with Test Driven Development practices and test framework automation
-Experience with Xbox 360 and/or Kinect development
-Experience with video game related middleware engines and packages
-Experience interfacing with and supporting external studios and partners
-Designed modular technologies to support plugin functionality, features, and content
