Key responsibilities: 
Develops projects from concept to completion focusing on board level design
Develops Schematics and BOM to meet the design requirements.
Develops layout guidelines for PCBs and guides Layout Engineers to meet all physical and electrical requirements
Analyzes the design with simulation tools and calculations to verify its conformance to the design requirements.
Conducts investigations and prepare reports for problems or issues 
Works with suppliers, contractors and senior design engineers to ensure that the product is developed on time with high quality
Conducts design tests on prototypes to validate the design
Specifies production test methods and limits. 

Requirements:
Minimum BS/MS in Electrical or Computer Engineering or related field.
8+ years of experience designing, implementing, and shipping high volume consumer electronics products of medium to high complexity.
Experience with PC architectures, embedded system architectures for hardware and software.
A solid understanding of core engineering principles, fundamental circuit design, and analytical techniques is required. Familiar with high speed design signal integrity issues, power distribution techniques & modern processors.
Experience in analog/ digital electronics design/bring up/debug.
Experience with implementation of high speed serial busses (SATA, PCIe, USB) and/or high speed parallel busses such as: memory bus (DDR2/3, etc.), CPU front side bus.
Working knowledge and expertise in ACPI, SMBIOS, PXE, UEFI device/bus drivers and DMA controllers.
Strong problem solving and debugging skills (able to write/debug CPU boot strap code, interrupt handlers, diag tools) for x86 multiprocessor systems.
Design for manufacturing and test experience is required.
Strong communication skills required, including the ability to clearly express technical concepts in verbal and written forms.
Domestic and international travel may be required.
