Do you have a passion for business design and analysis, developing multi-year roadmaps and process prioritization and optimization? The Sales and Marketing IT organization is seeing an experienced Business Architect to design architecture principles in order to clearly link strategic objectives to business operations and IT initiatives for our Marketing applications and processes.

Responsibilities:

- Enumerate, analyze, and suggest improvements to the structural relationships of the business. Create and manage on an ongoing basis model of roles, processes, capabilities, and their decomposition to materials, people, and systems.
- Capture the tactical and strategic business goals that provide traceability through the organization and are mapped to metrics that provide ongoing governance.
- Develop and drive multiyear business architecture strategy based on processes, scenarios and organizational motivations
- Working with business and technical subject matter experts to assess business needs, identify strategy and process execution gaps, establish business priorities, and determine options, risks, costs/benefits, and impacts.
- Provide business architecture consultation to business partners in defining or designing business strategies, processes, capabilities, key performance indicators/metrics and change management impacts based on customer needs
- Recommend optimized investments in people, process, technology or information.
- Work with information architect to develop and manage the data elements used by the processes and its relationship between enterprise and other business units.


Other Responsibilities:

- Analyze business motivations and business operations through the use of business analysis frameworks and related networks that link these aspects of the enterprise together.
- Track industry trends for business architecture and business strategy and provide insights to the MSIT architecture community and communicating the value of business architecture framework to the stakeholder community.
- Maintaining awareness and knowledge of business architecture best practices in order to propose changes needed to evolve the MSIT business architecture framework opportunistically. 
- Maintain strong relationships and regular communication with senior business leaders, business owners and stakeholders within the business in relation to their business strategies, policies and programs
- Partner across the business groups and field subsidiaries, to improve coordination, alignment, and the adoption of best practices.
- Application of structured business architecture approach and methodology for capturing the key views of the business unit in the context of the enterprise.
- Improve the annual technology planning process.


Skills and Qualifications:

- At least (15) years of IT experience with (12) or more years of experience planning, developing, implementing, and maintaining large-scale management information systems with 10+ years of experience in developing and using high-level models as required to collect, aggregate or disaggregate complex and conflicting information about the business.
- 10+ years of experience modeling business processes using a variety of tools and techniques like BPMN, UML, Archimate, Sparx EA, Business Genetics, PEGA or META. Preference will be given for BPMN, Archimate, Sparx and Business Genetics.
- 8+ years of experience with business process change techniques (e.g. Change Management, Lean Six Sigma, etc.)
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise architecture tools and methodologies like ATAM, TOGAF, Zachman, Troux, Alfabet. Preference will be given for ATAM, TOGAF, Alfabet.
Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree preferred. 
- Business Architecture / Analyst certification required. CITA-P, OpenCA certification preferred.
- Experience in global sales processes across retail, corporate and partner channel is preferred. Should have exposure to IT/Hi-Tech industry.

- Ability to assimilate and correlate disconnected documentation and drawings, and articulate their collective relevance to the organization and to high-priority business issues. Ability to analyze information patterns, trends, and outliers to assess the strategic and tactical impacts of these on the business. 
- Ability to visualize and create high-level models (rigorous information-rich diagrams) that can be used in future analysis to extend and mature the business architecture. Visualizations and reports should be customized for communications with executives, mid-level managers, and front-line workers to communicate business architecture recommendations.
- Ability to read information / data models and deployment documentations for large, complex systems.
- Exceptional communication skills and the demonstrable ability to communicate appropriately at all levels of the organization; this includes written and verbal communications as well as visualizations A broad, enterprise-wide view of the business and varying degrees of appreciation for strategy, processes and capabilities, enabling technologies, and governance. The scope of content to communicate includes business requirements, data constraints, business rules, models of strategy and motivation, processes, accountabilities, and many other business and IT operational needs.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills with proven experience in creating and delivering CXO-level proposals and presentations. Ability to influence and establish strong working relationships with business and technology partners at all levels.
- Perform as trusted advisor and a thought-leader.
