The Sr. Director of Standard & Scale Products will be responsible for the product plan, program management and P&L of all scalable advertising products across all Xbox surface areas. Growing this segment of Xbox Advertising is the key strategic priority for the business as it pursues its goal of achieving $1B in revenues.


This leader will be responsible for setting the roadmap for the entire portfolio of scalable advertising products. Those products include banners, interstitial video, advanced measurement/targeting and interactive ads (e.g., NUads™) across TV, PC, tablet and phone on a global basis. The roadmap must strike the appropriate balance of innovation that drives differentiation while being easy to sell, buy and service. 


This role will oversee a team of program managers that will drive the development of these advertising products, working with development & test engineering leaders to ensure rapid deployment of these products. Success in this role will also require close partnership with engineering leaders in the Online Services Division, who are responsible for the backend services and tools of Xbox Advertising. In addition, strong partnerships must be formed with senior leaders in the platform and content development groups of Xbox, to ensure the advertising products are effectively implemented. 


This person will own setting the value prop, packaging and pricing of these advertising products and work very closely with advertising sales to develop a strategy to maximize revenue. At the same time, strong management of COGS and operating expenses to hit profit goals is a key priority. 


Xbox Advertising is a global business and consequently partnering with regional leaders in Xbox and sales to ensure their local needs are sufficiently addressed will be critical. 


Requirements:
- Demonstrated successful experience in leading an advertising business at scale, preferably in association with entertainment content
- A clear track record of creating and implementing an advertising product roadmap that successfully drove innovation and significant sales
- Deep insight and experience around the digital, video and TV advertising technology and ecosystems
- Proven ability to lead and partner with engineering & design groups
- A strong vision on where the advertising industry is evolving and a perspective on how to secure competitive advantage and disproportionate value
- Strong strategic thinking skills and ability to work with data
- Experience leading high functioning multi-disciplinary teams 
- Strong relationships with senior leaders across the advertising industry, including marketers, agencies and other media companies
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills to work closely with many internal and external groups, while still having the conviction to maintain principles
- A successful track record leading a global business, with particular focus on Europe or Latin America
- A minimum of +10 years of experience in advertising
- Moderate domestic and international travel
