The Senior IT Engineer will be responsible to provide technical leadership and strategies for Information and Communication Technology infrastructure and support to WorldFish offices in Malaysia and remote country offices. The overall role and responsibilities will include (but not limited) to the following:
Key Responsibilities
  • Design , support and maintain company network infrastructure
  • Internal Regional IT support
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issue
  • Implement support and maintain server virtualization / Linux server administration/AD Migration
  • Setting up and configuring new desktop/ Laptops
  • Implement and support backup and recovery procedures
  • Ensure security and upgrades been applied and kept up to date on servers, desktop and laptops
  • Maintain and share projects , system and project documentation embracing IT departments method, practice and template
  • Implement changes to the system that have the regional impact
Skills and Qualifications
  • Degree in IT or Computer Science
  • 3 years working experience in relevant field, with at least 2 years working experience in administering medium to large scale IT backend infrastructure
  • Exposure in the development and implementation of Information and Communication Technology strategies is definitely an advantage
  • Expert knowledge on Microsoft server technologies and services, open source technologies, and cloud-based hosting services is a must
  • Experience in configuration and administration of Cisco devices, router, switches and Cisco ASA firewall
  • Possesses strong analytical and technical skills, project and people management skills, customer relationship and management skills;
  • Possesses good documentation, communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
