Under the direct supervision of Finance and Admin Officer in Maungdaw and overall supervision bythe Head of Sub-office in Maungdaw, the incumbent will perform the following duties:-
- Extract, input, review for accuracy and file data from various sources in administrative, humanresources, NFI procurement and other WFP systems;
- Maintain a selected number of administrative control records, such as for commitments andexpenditures, travel, insurance and other;
- Initiate and process administrative actions such as those found in human resources, travel,procurement, disbursement;
- Assist in monitoring status of expenditures and allotments through WFP corporate systems,record variations, update budget tables and consolidate data for budget review;
- Make computations, calculations and estimates and prepare reports or assist in thepreparation of periodic reports including forms, tables, charts and other;Draft correspondence relating to the area of responsibility;
- Design and update charts and tables utilizing graphic tools, design hard copy and computerresident forms;
- initiate, update and track computer assisted processing of administrativeactions;
- Make in the preparation of administrative reports and financial documents such as stationerystocks, payment vouchers, ledger update and WINGS II finance entry;
- Prepare human resources report such as staff salary, overtime and entry staff leave inPASPORT;
- Assist with day-to-day administration of contracts with external contractors; check contractors'invoices against the goods and services provided and process payments;
- Provide information related to the above functions and exchange a variety of statisticalinformation;
- Search for, retrieve, compile, assemble and archive a variety of statistical data from computerfiles, records, reports or from other sources for internal/external use; provide basic analysis ofthe data as requested;
- Prepare administrative arrangement for training/workshop;
- Make travel arrangements in line with administrative rules and procedures;
- Set up, classify and maintain files;Initiate and modify automated transactions;
- Perform other related duties as required;
QualificationEducation:
- Minimum Secondary school education.
- Supplemented by technical or University courses in a field related to the post will be an advantage.
- Experience:At least three years of progressive responsible support work experience in general administrative work with at least one year at the level 3 or equivalent.
Knowledge:Training and/or experience utilising computers, including word processing, spreadsheet and otherWFP standard software packages and systems. Good with figures. General knowledge of UNsystem administrative policies, rules, regulations and procedures in the area of facilitymanagement
.Language:Communicate effectively in both written and oral English.
The ability to communicate in local ethniclanguage will be advantage.
Critical Success Factors:Ability to review a variety of data, identify and adjust data discrepancies. Identify and resolveoperational problems.
Ability to communicate moderately complex matters clearly and concisely.Ability to perform detailed work, work of a confidential nature and/or to handle a large volume ofwork possibly under time constraints.

Desired skills:

Duties and Responsibilities:
Under the direct supervision of the International Reports Officer and overall supervision of theCountry Director, the National Reports Officer produces reports, briefings, and other products to beshared with internal and external audiences. He/she will be responsible for the following duties andoutputs:
- In collaboration with the International Reports Officer, monitor and review regular sourcesof information and data required for the preparation of reports, e.g., news clippings,information from field monitors, monthly sub-office reports;
- Support the International Reports Officer in preparing information and writing regularreports to WFP Headquarters and external partners summarizing WFP activities;Support the International Reports Officer in compiling and writing beneficiary stories thatcapture the impact of WFP's work in Myanmar;
- In collaboration with the relevant units, regularly update existing factsheets on WFPMyanmar and produce new factsheets as needed;
- Act as a public information focal point for national media, preparing press releases, talkingpoints, Q&As and other information materials for media queries;
- Maintain the photo/video archive for WFP Myanmar and act as the focal point for photosfrom sub-offices;
- Maintain and regularly update the WFP Myanmar website and social media, as required;

Education:
- University degree with relevant experience and advanced training/courses injournalism, English, social sciences, international relations, communications, or other related fields.
Experience:

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Provide technical assistance to Cooperating partners (CP) for implementing School FeedingProgramme.
- Review the proposal of CP's Field Level Agreements (FLAs);
- Secondary data analysis and compile indicators in order to extend and expand school feedingprogramme to improve quality of education where other UN Agencies and education partner operates;
- Coordinate with other UN Agencies for education activities. Participate in Education Thematic working group meeting;
- Provide inputs for education info required by Head Quarters and the Regional Bureau;
