World Concern is a Christian (Global) Humanitarian organization serving rural communities, operating relief and development work in Myanmar since 1995.World Concern mainly focuses its activities on capacity building for rural development. We are currently seeking a young, energetic, motivated and dedicated person who is willing to help us as a Volunteer for Health Section of World Concern Myanmar in Country Office, Yangon.

  What we do...
  World Concern Myanmar has adopted the following sectors of work in Kachin, Mon, Northern Shan States and Delta Area.

• Health (HIV/AIDS, Primary Health Care including Nutrition, Malaria, Water and Sanitation)
• Livelihood (Self Help Group, Rice Bank, Livestock, Agriculture)
• Environment
• Capacity Building for Community Base Organizations and Local Partner Organizations
• Revitalizing vulnerable poor, improving health and hygiene, support psychosocial
  resilience and paddy farming and fisheries industries, restoring access to safe drinking water and helping to build the capacity of local partners in Delta Area.

Major Responsibilities:

About Health Team

• To help in facilitating the training (probably going trip to the programs for training with health team)
• To support some manual works related to the office tasks (related with Health)
• To assist in making and developing success stories concerning with health activities
  for donor reports
• To do some record keeping about meetings, reports and events
• To support the data filling and updating files (with Microsoft Word, Excel)
  Assist in monitoring and evaluation
  • Assist in planning, monitoring and evaluation of project activities
  • Act as communication point with program technicians and health team
    Internal capacity building of health staffs

• Organizing, sourcing, following up and evaluating health topic trainings for staffs
• Support with material development – IEC/ manuals related to health team
• Participation in WCM working groups as required
  Selection Criteria for Volunteer

• Age – 18 and above.
• Graduate with Health Background.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• High interest in humanitarian work and strong desire to learn for personal
  development.
• Able to work with team and has good inter personal skills.
• Able to work in difficult settings and gracefully under pressure.
• Other skills will be specific upon the job requirements.
