Pact Microfinance Myanmar is an international non-governmental, non-profit, non-religious and non-political organization that is based in Washington D.C, United States. Pact has been working in Myanmar for more than a decade. Pact Myanmar is currently working in the Delta Zone, Dry Zone and Shan Zone with Microfinance. Pact Myanmar operates its various projects in 49 townships. Pact Global Microfinance Fund (PGMF) is a licensed Microfinance Institution. Pact Global Microfinance Fund is currently seeking motivated and experienced candidates for the position of Treasury Manager.

Title : Treasury Manager (only 1 post)

DutyStation : Yangon Office

Duration : 12 months full time initially (with three months-probation)

Reporting to : Finance Director, PGMF

General Description

To provide an effective financial management service for the implementation of operations, through Treasury, including asset & liability management, Financial Planning and Analysis, and policy compliance. To work closely with the Controller in offering advice to the Finance Director and ensure the proper management of the organization's assets in accordance with policies, procedures and best practices.

SpecificDuties and responsibilities

• Ensure, in close cooperation with the Finance Director, that finance policy is in place for branch staff and to guide the MFI's financial decision making
• To establish, maintain and review minimum standards for treasury management.
• Plan and manage investment activity, so that PGMF optimizes its cash position & funding lines Manage liquidity across the MFI, ensuring that branches have sufficient funding to meet lending demands and cover operational requirements.
• Make sure that branch and regional fund requests are in line with the annual budget and quarterly projections.
• To ensure that adequate analysis of PGMF's financial performance is carried out to advise management decisions, including provision of management reports.
• To contribute to the preparation of the Institution's Strategic Plans, consolidated annual budgets and forecasts, and provide advice to senior management on the business plan and financial projections.

Required Qualifications

• University degree 10 years of experience in microfinance or banking Completed CPA or ACCA preferred Proficient spoken and written English Advanced skill set in MS Excel; experience with QuickBooks an advantage Demonstrated ability and experience in training
