Description
Core Functions/Responsibilities:
1. Manage and supervise the implementation of the Resettlement Support Center (RSC)case processing activities, including support of resettlement country selection missions(circuit rides) and casework interviews/file assembly, ensuring effective cooperationamong RSC staff, other IOM units, and all external stakeholders.
2. Supervise and oversee the work of the Programme Support Officers in Amman andBaghdad including assignment of duties and functions, providing performance feedback;review and evaluation of staff performance.
3. Liaise with the work site's external partners, specifically the security staff who maintainthe checkpoints, and the U.S. Embassy that provides logistical support for the programme.
4. Oversee and develop interview schedule and file distribution for implementation.
5. Monitor and ensure Quality Control (QC) over all activities. Identify procedures that canbe improved and take appropriate measures to ensure implementation.
6. Oversee all logistical arrangements for Programme Support Officers and other IOM stafftravelling to and from Baghdad.
7. Attend and resolve related issues and escalate to respective units/supervisors as maybe required. Mediate disagreements and conflicts as they occur.
8. Represent RSC Baghdad in meetings and prepare Situation Reports (sitreps), briefings,background information, and other reports as required.
9. Implement file/document access control procedure to maintain and ensure programmeintegrity and confidentiality.
10. Perform such other duties as may be assigned.

.Required Qualifications and Experience
a)completed advanced university degree from an accredited academic institutionpreferably in a Social Science, International Relations, or related field;
b) two years ofprofessional experience (or four years for candidates holding a first level university degree) inUSRAP, particularly Resettlement Support Center (RSC) activities such as pre-DHS processing,case work and out processing;
c) prior experience in Baghdad's U.S. Refugee AdmissionsProgram (USRAP);
d) strong knowledge of USRAP programme and structure;
e) familiaritywith IOM and related safety and security standards;
f) high level of computer literacyincluding but not limited to WRAPS (World Wide Refugee Admission Processing System)and MS-Office products;
g) willing to undergo frequent duty travel to Iraq for 8-12 week fieldoperations;
h) experience in liaising with government, national and international institutions anadvantage.
Languages
Fluency in English and Arabic is required.
