Communication for Development Officer - NOC (Post reference #85936)
Purpose of the post:
The incumbent is responsible for the design, formulation, management, execution and evaluation of a behavioural change and social mobilization strategy, plan of action and programme activities in support of the country programme.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
  • Advanced university degree in the social/behavioural sciences with emphasis on strategic communication planning for behaviour & social change, social mobilization, participatory communication, and research.
  • Minimum 5 years of progressively responsible professional work experience in the development, planning and management of social development programmes with practical experience in the adaptation and application of communication planning processes to specific programmes.
Additional Skills:
  • Computer skills, including advanced internet navigation and various office applications;
  • Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment;
  • Excellent spoken and written English.
