We empower server, client, devices and cloud computing experiences, such as SQL, SharePoint, ASP.NET, desktop applications, Windows store applications, Windows Phone 8 applications, embedded smart devices, cloud computing in Windows Azure. Our goal is to enable great .NET managed code developer experiences across all supported platforms. .NET Framework Core Test team is looking for a highly motivated and strong technical individual with passion to improve managed code developer experiences and ship high quality software. The responsibilities include driving and verifying:
API convergence across platforms with high compatibility
Good developer experience on all managed code supported platforms in future releases
Good developer experience of developing portable programs crossing platforms
High quality core .NET Framework APIs
Out-of-band releases for .NET Framework components to enable flexible release model to drive customer satisfaction
You will partner with DEVs, PMs and other SDETs to design new features; you will define and drive quality for the feature areas; you will be an advocate of our customers verifying end to end customer scenarios and driving world class customer experiences. You will own and innovate test tools, test infrastructure and test methodologies.
Qualifications:
Strong technical background and quick learner for new technologies.
Excellent problem solving and design skills
Good communication skill and team player
A passion for shipping high quality software
Strong focus on customer experience satisfaction
Demonstrable strong coding skills and 5+ years’ experience with C/C++ and/or at least one managed language like C#
4+ years’ experience in shipping software is a plus
BS/MS degree in Computer Science or other related technical field
