Position: Microsoft Retail Stores HR Associate/Staffing Coordinator
Reporting Relationship: This position reports to the GM of HR for Microsoft Retail Stores
Role Purpose: This multi-focused position is key to supporting the successful hiring, onboarding and ongoing development and retention of our retail team members, both in our stores and in corporate roles. This role will have high connection to all retail employees and the Retail HR team as well as the HR partners across SMSG HR and the greater Microsoft HR organization, and will take accountability for project work related to store openings and HR rhythms for both the store and corporate teams.
Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
HR Administrator,
• Processing new hires which includes but is not limited to: first point of contact for new hire, submitting and tracking background checks, offer letter creation and system data entry
• managing all data changes in HR systems and tools including but not limited to terminations and transfers
• incentive pay review and processing which includes bi-weekly, monthly and quarterly work streams
• data audits
Planning & Time Management
• Organized, resourceful and can take a versatile approach to a rapidly changing environment. Includes working to specified goals, being highly accountable, professional, detail oriented, and trustworthy.
• Support the staffing team and ensure that candidate management is executed with excellence. This includes, but is not limited to: updating Staffing Systems, coordinating interview loops when requested, responsible for data entry and maintenance of applicant tracking system.
• ROB Planning, help to enable smooth running of the team, and be the backup PME supporting the key elements of HR ROB; MYCI, MS Poll & Review
• HR Tool support, reporting and data analysis
• HR Projects -coordinate and on occasion lead HR related activities associated with team effectiveness or as requested by the by the Retail HR GM. This includes but is not limited to training new HRAs as they come onboard, process improvements and creating process guides.
• Cross group collaboration- Partnering with other HRAs across Microsoft and specifically within the SMSG HRA community
• HR Team Advocate - Presenting approachable and professional image for the HR Team.
Key Interfaces/ Relationships:
• Retail HR team and Retail leadership and extended leadership teams
• SMSG HR and Microsoft HR community
• Retail admin peers
• Retail employees and managers, both in the stores (field) and Redmond corporate team
• Various teams across MS- security, HCOps, legal, finance, retail ops, payroll

Experiences Required:

• 3+ of administrative/support experience, preferably at an executive level
• Proven ability to deliver projects accurately & on time
• Intermediate to Advanced level experience with Microsoft Office (specifically Excel, Word and Outlook)
• 3+ years’ experience with data management and staffing tools (Microsoft internal tools preferred- HeadTrax, E-rec, mSRA, RecWeb)
• Previous experience working within an HR environment desired.
