Global Network Services (GNS) is the team that designs, deploys and supports the networks behind Microsoft’s online services, including Bing, Windows Azure, Microsoft Business Productivity Online Services, Hotmail, Windows Live Messenger, and Microsoft.com.
Roles & Responsibilities:
​We are currently looking for an experienced Group Business Administrator to support a Senior Director and assist the team admin lead and existing Group Business Administrator with group support for a 300+ team. This position will require someone who can adjust direction in response to changing situations, accommodate different working styles, and prioritize their own work and tasks.
To be successful, the Group Business Administrator should have strong planning and organizational skills. The position requires collaboration and the ability to prioritize and communicate effectively and, with great attention to detail. 

The person in this role will interact with all levels of employees.

Key Responsibilities include: 
Calendar management of Senior Director’s calendar with attention to accuracy and timelines 
Supporting rhythm of the business activities related to organizational clarity
Partnering with Lead admin and org admin team on process definition and adherence
Help Lead Admin with processes and projects
Assisting with preparation of presentation materials and off-site meeting logistics, as needed
Ensuring awareness and compliance with administrative operations policies and procedures 
Planning and supporting morale events
Hardware inventory management and allocation
Expense Report Processing per Microsoft and organizational policies
Assist Lead admin to manage space and headcount
Skills & Qualifications:
​​The successful candidate should have a good understanding/familiarity with internal tools such as MS Expense; MS Invoice; HeadTrax and MS Market. 
Candidates must be self-aware and have the ability to balance a sense of humor with a sense of responsibility. Candidates should appreciate an energetic work environment and have a sense of urgency for key deliverables, deliberate and forward-thinking in how he/she approaches challenges, manages complexity, and operate administratively at scale. Experience Required:
​​​Candidates should have 1-2 years of experience in an administrative support role, with a strong understanding of Microsoft Office, and communications products such as Online Meeting, Lync and Skype.
