HW team is looking for an Senior Software Development Engineer to join our new diagnostics engineering team. A successful candidate will be responsible for writing low level and system level diagnostics, help to bring up new HW and support HW builds. In this position you will be a technical lead, will help to build a team and design diagnostics framework. In this position you will be working with teams ranging from hardware, platform and silicon . Bring up and validation of new HW and tricky multi- disciplinary area, the work is challenging and rewarding .
Successful candidates will have:
- Deep passion for HW and SW
- Firmware development and validation experience
- HW bring up understanding and experience
- Reading schematics
- Excellent working knowledge of C/C++
- Team lead experience
- Great problem solving skills and high intellectual horsepower
- Excellent cross group collaboration skills
- 6+ years software development experience
Additional Experience Desired:
- X86 / ARM assembly
- Scripting language experience
- Windows RT/PE
- Secure boot understanding
- Optical device and media experience
- BA/BS or advanced degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering preferred
