Job: Design animated characters for a short animation about the Social Entrepreneurship in Uzbek

Description

We are seeking the support of an online volunteer with a solid background in design or animation in order to design the characters for educational animation videos on 'What is Social Entrepreneurship' for a new Online School of Social Entrepreneurship in Uzbekistan.

Further background information and introduction to Uzbek culture will be provided.

The task is expected to finish by October 15.

Other online volunteers will support us by writing the script and with the final editing and voice synchronization.The volunteers will receive due credit on the product.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION

The Eurasia Foundation just started a new initiative focused on Uzbekistan. The new School of Social Entrepreneurship is the online education platform dedicated to providing high-quality and cutting edge learning resources on social entrepreneurship in Uzbek language. The main goal is to equip young people from Uzbekistan with skills to be able to come up with innovative and sustainable small project to address some of the pressing social issues in their communities.

OBJECTIVE

Eurasia Foundation involves volunteers to support various development initiatives. We believe societies function best when people take responsibility for their own civic and economic prosperity. Through cooperation based on mutual respect, our programs equip citizens to define and achieve outcomes of enduring benefit to their communities. Volunteers contribute to local development, capacity building and empowerment projects.

REQUIREMENTS

• Background in design or illustration is a must.- Professional experience developing education animation videos is an asset.- Russian or Uzbek are an asset but not mandatory.- Knowledge of tools and software for developing animation video- Ability to meet deadlines and creativity- In your application please upload your CV and include web links to your portfolio or to samples of your previous works.
