Position : Bookkeeper

Location : Yangon Region

The main responsibilities of this position will be;

All cash transactions are in smooth and accurate

• Cash withdrawal and deposit activities with bank are done accordingly
• Maintain and update cash book on daily basis and perform daily physical cash count
• All financial documents are documented, filed, numbered and safely kept
• Assist PFC in checking employment expenditure reports and update subsidiary ledgers
• Oversee all internal control systems at Field Office
• Assist to PFC in monthly and quarterly fund forecast and project payment authorization request
• Trigger the alarm and consult with PFC/Project Manager for high or low cash in hand balance
• Submit physical asset count report to National Office Finance Department

The applicant should have the following knowledge, skills and abilities:

• University Bachelor Degree in accounting/finance or related subject
• At least two years work experience as Cashier or in the field of finance and administration
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
• Must have good office administration skill and proven experience as a team player
• Must have possess good interpersonal and communication skills
• Honest, thorough and ability to maintain confidentiality
• Demonstrated commitment to World Vision values and philosophy and capacity to engage with the broader community in living these values
• Must provide a clean criminal background
