Are you interested in joining Microsoft’s Enterprise and Partner Group sales team? We are seeking a highly motivated individual who will manage the strategic relationships with large healthcare firms in the Boston metropolitan area. 

Responsibilities include: 

As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for achieving revenue goals by selling Microsoft technologies, devices, services and solutions across several named accounts. Specifically, you will define, document, and execute an account plan to lead a team of subject matter experts who will proactively propose solutions that address your customers’ highest priority business opportunities. 

The key to success in this position is recognizing revenue potential, establishing a clear vision, developing a thorough plan, and executing efficiently. The successful candidate must be able to build relationships with CxO’s as well as at all levels in an organization both within IT. It is critical the candidate be able to penetrate the lines of business and uncover net new opportunities. Additionally, this person must creatively tackle complex sales challenges, overcome competitive threats, and make decisions to optimize the impact of a broad team of resources within the named accounts. 

Establishing exceptionally strong executive relationships with corporate IT and business operations is critical in this role. You will lead a large team of resources to facilitate communications, work with the solutions sales team to drive wins, and engage Microsoft Consulting Services and partners to deliver successful projects. In this role, you will work directly with account technology strategists (pre-sales technical resource) to drive revenue and deployment objectives at your clients.

Requirements: 

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of developing and managing CxO relationships within large, complex organizations and using those relationships to consistently exceed quota expectations. Must be comfortable interfacing at all levels within assigned accounts, while possessing knowledge of business opportunities and the impact of technology within the healthcare industries. Candidates must be passionate about the benefits of technology generally and especially the value that Microsoft provides. 

A minimum of 7-10 years of enterprise account management experience in a relevant, technology sales environment is required. Experience with a solution selling methodology is mandatory. Familiarity with Microsoft’s product lines is desired. 

Candidates must be able to think strategically, while successfully managing to short term goals. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential. A BA/BS degree is required with an M.B.A. a plus. The ideal candidate for this role is living in the Boston, MA area. Minimal overnight travel will be required.
