Description

In the Bing Information Platform Geospatial Content team, you can literally change the world! That’s because we make the mapping imagery that shows up on clients like Bing Maps, Windows Phone, and the Windows 8 Maps App. Located in sunny Boulder, Colorado, we dream up new imagery types and takes those innovations through to fully-realized projects that we deploy at scale. For example, we just completed the Global Ortho program, which has been heralded as the largest aerial imaging project ever undertaken. In this project our team acquired high-resolution imagery of the entire United States and Western Europe in just under 2 years - for a fraction of typical industry cost. The imagery is live now - check for your own home!

Now the we are tackling our next huge project. You have a chance to get in at the beginning as we build a new imagery pipeline from acquisition through processing through delivery. As a Senior Content Project Manager you will have an impact on every phase of the project. You will own the standard operating procedures (SOPs) that will be used by a team of nearly 100 vendor operators as they process and edit cutting-edge imagery.
